I don’t know but it looks really delicious! I would eat it whatever you would like to name it!
…and the rose would smell the same with any other name… ;) Thank you!
Very impressive – you got a good smooth cover on that which isn’t easy at all (I tried it went a bit lumpy)
Thank you ;) It depend on how lucky I am :D Usually helps to live it in the fridge right after covering it with jam and before spreading the chocolate…
Well I will bare that in mind – I am going to try again one day (BTW is that bare or bear…)
Beautiful photo. Beautiful cake. It is one of my favorites …brings back memories of a magical day in Saltzburg, Austria. And no, yours in not an ordinary chocolate cake!!!!!
Saltzburg has a wonderful Christmas Market and Mozart Kugeln ;) It is like in fairy tales there…
OMG….it looks super delicious! it is one of my favourites ;)
Besides Pavlova that is my favorite too :D I checked again – your version looks awesome!!!
I’d no problem call it a Sacher cake. The most gorgeous looking of them all, as well! (Trust me, I tried many).
Thank you, that is too kind! ;)
I wasn’t sure about the name. Lately there were large discussions about till when you can still use original name and when you had changed the original recipe too extensively to be allowed using original name :D
Hm well – lets call it the ‘Better Than Sacher’ cake? haha!
The images make me wanna jump in to your cake and house!! Don’t be to harsh on yourself though!!
Thank you Sanne, wish I still had some leftovers for you ;) I just start thinking about the cake you&your sun prepared some weeks ago… :D
Ah! The Trifle… Definitely worth a try! I’m curiously looking forward to your version! :) Have a nice day!
Love the cake (don’t care what it’s called–I want some :-) ), but also love the me or the house quote. Lol.
Looks like I should kept some leftovers ;) Most ladies would rather chose ‘me’ than ‘the house’ ;)
Oh my. The cake is beautiful. I can only imagine how delicious! Your pictures are truly art!
