It it not always easy to found the perfect cookie cutter. There are so many different kind of on the market. For winter time, that means for Christmas time, I wanted huge Snowflakes. And little Teddy bears.
Honey, cinnamon and orange zest are typical spices for winter time cookies. My favourite recipe:
300 g flour (half white half rye)
100 g sugar
1 spoons cocoa powder
1/2 spoon baking powder
1 tea spoon cinnamon
1/2 spoon coriander
100 g melted margarine
lemon zest (of one lemon)
orange zest (of one orange)
Mix all ingredients together into a nice firm mass. Live it for about half an hour in a fridge to rest.
Cookies could be cut in any shape and size. The current actual are snowflakes, teddy bears, stars, Christmas trees… so chose as you like. Bake them about 10 minutes at 180 C.
100 g of chocolate
50 coconut butter if needed
Warm up chocolate and as much coconut butter as needed. Should be smooth and nicely liquid to cover cookies. Decoration is up to you! Chopped nuts, coconut flour, colorful chips and so on…
Enjoy!
