Winter flowers & homemade tea

Small winter flowers are perfect for winter time. Rich in chocolate with lemon/lime icing. But before you start preparing them make sure you have same size muffin papers as your cookie cutters are ๐Ÿ˜‰ Homemade herbal tea is ย a good and healthy implement to them in these cold days.

1/2 cup sugar
2ย cups white all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tea-spoon baking soda
1 vanilla sugar
1/3 cup baking chocolate

1 cup almond milk

Mix all dryย dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add almond milk and mix well with the spatula toย get fluffy texture. Bake it in large baking pan at 170C/ 340F – should be around 4-5 cm (1 1/2 inch) high. Like thick roll cake.ย When baked cool it down.

1/2 cup ground sugar
zest and juice of one lemon or lime (could also be orange)

Stir both together and pour it over chilled. When solidify cut out small flowers (diameter around 5 cm/2 inch).

    1. Thank you a lot!
There were leftovers? Haven’t noticed them ๐Ÿ˜‰

      1. Then you’re just like me — the leftovers disappear before the real cookies are served!

      2. That is so nice to know! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Cookies are too beautiful to eat them, probably that is why leftovers are perfece thing … Huge LIKE for them ๐Ÿ™‚

      3. Exactly! The perfect cookies are always the first to be photographed… But the last to be eaten! Yet I scarf down all the misshapen pieces while I take the pictures. Oops? :]

      4. Oops? jp right ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€
But on the other hand lets say you have a perfect looking cookies, perfect photos, you still can’t just write down how tasty they are. Is there any other way how to find out that than try them? ๐Ÿ™‚

      5. You’ve got me there! I’d probably eat the second-best-looking one though… Ever since I was tiny, I always save the best for last!

  4. No I haven’t ๐Ÿ˜‰ On the very end all off them gone ๐Ÿ˜‰
I promised myself to use leftovers for cake pops. But have no idea in what year will that finally happened :-/ ๐Ÿ˜€
