Potato soup

If it is cold and foggy Saturday, warm soup is the thing No 1 to prepare.

3-4 table spoons olive oil
1 large onion, cut
2 garlic leaves
3-4 table spoons tomato sauce
1 tea-spoon flour of your choice
2-3 potatoes, cut in small squares
1 cup mixes veggies: carrot, green beans, string beans, corn, cauliflower
3 cups hot tab water
1/2 tea-spoon sweet red pepper powder
1 laurel leave
salt, pepper, 1 table-spoon parsley, chilly sauce

Slowly pill union and garlic on hot oil till light brown. Add tomato sauce and flour and mix for couple of minutes. Add potatoes, veggies, water and spices and cook it for about 1/2 hour or till all veggies are cooked. Before serving mix parsley and chilly sauce in to it.

If you are still moody after that soup, here is a funny short movie that I received from my colleague: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVwlMVYqMu4.

Have a nice day!

  1. I simply love that you did not photoshop-out the reflection of yourself in the spoon and that we get to have a glimpse in to your world that way!
Lovely and delicious looking as always!
